English Teachers - AussieSparkey

This quote was added by aussiesparkey
When an English teacher views a text they will always think that the writer made the curtains blue to reflect the character's pensive attitude to the world at the time. They will think that the curtains can be analyzed with depth, that asking a student to write an essay about the color of the curtains in a book is acceptable. And they may be right. But have they ever imagined a moment when the writer adds curtains and, realizing they need a color, picks one at random? No, they have not.
