Text: One of the reasons stories are lost over time is that they become entangled in shame and embarrassment as if we can change who we are by simply forgetting who we were. It would be far easier not to mention the failings of my relatives, to pretend that this story has only one side, that of heroes and chiefs. Each paragraph will be a test.
