Statistics - populations and samples - Amrit Cassim

This quote was added by user891668
The population is the whole set of items that are of interest Census sampling observes or measures every member of a population A sample is a set of observations taken from a subset of the population that is used to find out information about the population as a whole. Census sampling gives a completely accurate result, but it is expensive and time consuming to carry out, process a large amount of data, and is not suitable when the testing process destroys the item.
