Text: Some people are happy in one job all their lives; they're increasingly rare, but they do still exist. For the rest of us life has become harder and harder as the competition escalates. When I was a young actress I sometimes felt overwhelmed by the odds, but now those odds are against us in all walks of life. We have more choice but less security, and this means that we have to have a clear idea of what we want or we can be sure of not getting it. Each paragraph will be a test.
