Text: Iris Moretti was sick of the road. She would never admit this to her mother, but it was true. She hated the engine noise. She hated the smell of exhaust. She hated the petrol station toilets with their damp loo paper and puddled floors. She hated crowded cap sites and shop-bought sandwiches and dashboard dice.
