This reads like a poem/lyric, and it's set up like one on the Quotes page. Given that, the person submitting put a period at the end of each line. Poetry follows the same grammatical rules as prose, so the abundance of fragments resulting from the incorrectly placed periods is a problem. For a typing test, the genre is a problem, too, I'd argue.
