Mine is about 70. Any tips for how I could improve this?

What I do is I read the whole thing before I start to type it our and THEN I type the thing all the way. :)

Yeah, about that, that lowers your WPM a lot.

What's your accuracy like? I find that if you split your training in 2 phases, an accuracy focus and a speed focus, your speed goes up and helps you break plateaus. Basically, focus on increasing your accuracy and forget about speed for a couple of days, and when you're back to your current speed, then start focusing on increasing speed and not worrying about accuracy. Rinse and repeat.

My speed is usually around 75 wpm when typing long paragraphs.

My average is in the high 40s

You speed ranges in between a 29-43 WPM, my range is 79-100 WPM. Trust me, reading the whole thing before typing the quote doesn't work.

Reading the whole thing beforehand helps if you need to see your keyboard to type.

i don't type much so its at that. Also it works for me and it might not for you. There are differences OK? please just leave it there.

No, try it now, wait for a few seconds and it will say that starting later will impact your WPM negatively.

I did not say anything to me yet. Although that was one of the few times I type on this thing. I'm mostly doing Mkay Hirst quotes.

My typing average is about 10 WPM. It's really tough for me to type, so I've been typing everyday to improve. My disability prevents it, as I only have pinky fingers with the rest being "nubs". My parents can't afford the healthcare, so I am trying to get a typing career.

I don't really know, I'll say around 60-70 however. I peak at around 115 or so.
