Bloody quotes with a ` in them

It's impossible for me to type any quote with a slanted apostrophe in them, I can type a normal apostrophe like ' but its impossible to type ` in a quote.

I don't know if this is because I have a UK keyboard but I do know its really annoying to get half way through a long quote and have to give up because the key isn't recognised.

Is this a UK thing or do US members have the same problem?
Next time you stumble across any quote that has a back-tick in it, stop. If you click on the name/author of a quote you can go to this page that has a bunch of information about the quote and at the bottom right an option to edit the quote. You can change anything wrong that might be grammatically incorrect as well. It takes a little to be processed, but eventually it will go through and the correction will be implemented.

I hope I helped!

" ' ,, `` "the rabbit" ,,Here" `` cats rule'' " dogs rule '' `` tree``

~``get better`` "rain" '' " ' apostrophe' ``hello'' "clouds`` ``red``

"glass" Really wally77, I think it's a conspiracy! I tried w/my keyboard and there is no " Editors" quote key on my keyboard. So I guess ``two``
"two" creative means are necessary. The lower ~ key : ``key`` or "twice" on the upper ' key " big". But then when I printed out my work the quote marks were ALL MESSED UP. Regardless I still had to send in the report. Did not get reprimanded. Just like creative financing; we must use creative typing methods. maybe?

Any quote that is using the "back-tick" character should be corrected (in English anyway, although I am not aware of any Western language that uses the back-tick as a standalone character).
