Can we do that?

Hey Guys, I was just wondering if there was some sort of way to type song lyrics. Let me know if you find anything.

Song lyrics are forbidden on this site.

Here are the rules:

Religious or political quotes are not allowed
Song lyrics are not allowed
Quotes shouldn't contain newlines
Make sure the quote has no spelling error or bad punctuation. Punctuation in English.

Well, I think carrieunderwood read the rules and thought he/she'd ask if we knew other sites that allowed song lyrics.

I don't know any site that involves song lyrics, sorry. I've never even looked since they're often highly repetitive, and the insights they might want to share are trite and shallow. I see little merrit in typing song lyrics over random assortments of english words, like 10fastfingers.com offers.

If you are just looking to test yourself on song lyrics anywhere, FastFingers has a custom test option:

Transcribing lyrics to music you are listening to is an interesting exercise that presents its own challenges and makes for good dictation practice. Plus, because a recording is a fixed length, it makes for a good pass/fail metric of progress. Once you can transcribe the song without needing to pause or rewind, you 'pass' and can move on to a more challenging song.
