Control and backspace not registering correctly/as an error

Bug: I'm not sure if it is just me but it seems that using the CTRL + Backspace technique registers as an error in the typing box and so my score suffers when trying to quickly erase the whole word.
Is this happening to anyone else? I just started with a new keyboard so perhaps it is not a software issue at all.
It sometimes happen to me, being honest. But when it happens to me, I just pressed esc since I'm too lazy to continue with red boxes and stuff in the typing box.

Hmm, weird. It doesn't mark it as an error for me when I do it. Just tested it.

This happens to me as well. it doesn't happen 100% of the time but it's definitely there.

Yeah exactly. When I try to reproduce it it doesn't happen every time, but it does happen intermittently and I can't pinpoint what is actually going on.
