Correct spelling and spacing

Is anyone else having a problem because so frequently the word judgment has an extra e in it? Throws me off completely. Also, after the punctuation at the end of a sentence, there are 2 spaces not one as is sometimes the case in these quotes. Put in the correct 2 spaces and it tells you you made an error. Did not! :)

Actually, "2 spaces end-of-sentence punctuation" is no longer the accepted standard. While we were all taught to type two spaces when we were learning to type on typewriters, with computers it's redundant, inefficient, and unnecessary.

It has to do with the difference between typewriter fonts (monospaced) and computer fonts (proportional). The extra space is no longer needed, so the new norm is to use just one space.
