Gap Between Type Test Result and Real Speed in Word

I practiced here regularly for around a month. In the typing test my average speed in 10 games in around 35 WPM and the average accuracy is around 95%.

However, if I type in the word and try to copy an article. I usually could only achieve a speed of around 23 WPM. I measured this by type an article containing 760 words and it took me around 32 minutes.

How can I improve my typing to improve my real typing speed?
Your Keyhero speed is your "real typing speed", and if you knew what you wanted to type with complete intimacy, both speeds would match. The typing tests measure your fastest possible speed when you know exactly what to type (and how to spell it) and exactly when you've made a mistake. When you're in a test, you concentrate more on physically typing rather than the words used or the meaning behind them. It's not "cheating" to boast a higher WPM in a typing game, since you really did hit all those keys. However, you'll be slower copying a document, since you're not typing over grey text as you do in Keyhero. Your mind doesn't grasp the words as clearly.

Sounds reasonable. Thanks for your reply.
