How Typing Quotes Has Become A Positive Routine Of My Day

As I type, I really enjoy reading the quotes that are given in the typing tests. I find that it helps more to focus on the type of content that I am typing, rather than the consequences of not typing it correctly. (lol)

But I do enjoy the quotes. Every now and again I run into a funny quote that would make me smile or chuckle to myself. It is even more enjoyable when I type a quote that I've read or heard before! Sometimes, I even find a quote that would inspire or challenge me to think differently of topics that I normally wouldn't think about. As I type these little snippets or excerpts of longer texts, it becomes more than just training my hands to type faster and more accurately. I become exposed to (although briefly) various amounts of information that have the potential to linger with me and expand my own curiosity.

In short, I like this platform to increase my typing speed and accuracy! I find it interesting that my daily training to become a faster typist has also become a part in my day where I pause for critical thinking and reflection.

What is keyhero to you? What do you like about it and what do you think about when you type?

I am an older lady trying to learn to type , sometimes I think I'm good enough but then I realise that I do not seem to get any better, just staying the same speed, I wish I could be better but I would need to be doing it full time in a work situation but I can't get that without the speeds.... anyway I love the quotes too, some of them are funny but some of them are inspiring too and I take home the message.

That's great that you are getting so much out of these typing exercises. More importantly, your emotional health is benefiting from your introspection. I'm going to try to be more like you today. :)
