Instant death mode

Since the site has gone through complete overhaul, I'd like to request a kind of instant death mode for the typing tests. I'm a bit tired of still making many mistakes, and that's because I unconsciously know that I can fixed them. An instant death mode would prove very beneficial to me (and hopefully to others too).
It could be a check box below the test that selects this mode.
In this mode, when a mistake is made, the test ends immediately. I don't really know how the score could be counted in this case. Maybe there could be an alternate score along this: (percentage of typed text)*WPM.
Is anyone interested in such a request?

I like this idea as well. Maybe it could be outside the cumulative WPM tracking, the way the lessons don't count toward the typing tests.

I find the idea interesting. I will try to start working on it this month. The initial version will probably not track the WPM (like typing lessons). That will make this new mode easier to develop.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Like you I make mistakes and knowing I can go back and fix them makes me not worry so much about them

The instant death mode is now online. It's harder than I thought but still fun. I was not able to complete a test yet!

Yeah me too! I've only completed 1/12 so far but I absolutely refuse to give up. Just hope my computer holds up from when I slam my hands down after making a boo boo
