Mistake in Quotes on Purpose?

I've been trying to get my speed and accuracy up in the past few weeks. So I've been typing a good four hours a day, at least. I've seen a *lot* of quotes with really bad punctuation, grammar, etc.

As in "which" always has a comma in front of it - not in some of these quotes. "However" always has a comma after it, not in some of these quotes.

'Till - is not how you spell Till. And you don't put in ... and leave out the comma at the end: " ..., " is how it should be.

Is this being done so we get better at what we are typing no matter what? Sort of to throw us off a bit and see if we still get it right? Or is it just a mistake of the program, which I love, btw!

Just wondering...

it probably has more to do with the fact that the quotes are submitted by users and not thoroughly proofread before hand. I would imagine up or down voting the quotes for this reason may be a good suggestion. Otherwise, take it as an opportunity to be more aware of what you are typing, however annoying it is.

Don't downvote a quote for spelling errors. Correct the errors. The edit box is there for a reason.

Ah, was not aware of the edit box. Good to know.

I didn't know about the edit box either. I just figured it was like that so people would have a "surprise" thrown" at them every now and then. :)

i didnt know there was a edit box but sometimes i think they do that on purpose because they just want to make it tricky. But sometimes they do it as an accident.
