I would say it is. You just need to find your style of typing, that is, which finger types which keys.
Also you can use The Dvorak Keyboard Layout, right hand or left hand versions, which have been designed for typing using only one hand:

Warning:
If you decide to try and learn such a layout that might help you type faster. But it has a small inconvenient: whenever you need to type something in somebody else's computer, you will have go to the options to select the Dvorak Left or Right Hand (or you will have their default keyboard)
