Quotes rules?

I submitted quotes and it was rejected. I see a bunch of nonsensical quotes accepted here -- the, "this is a short quote for you to practice..." blah, blah, bull** -- but, the quotes I submitted were lines from a series, and they got rejected. What's up with that?

What do you mean by "rejected"? Did the site not allow you to submit them, or did they get low ratings and get archived? The former happens when the quote exactly matches an existing quote.

I was able to submit them. It was on [Pending] status, then it was just gone. I can't find it. I searched, and my quote is not a duplicate.

That is strange. Normally, even bad quotes get archived, not deleted. If "READ MY DOG SCRATCHY QUOTE IS REALLY FUNNY GO RATE IT 5 STARS BECAUSE I THINK THAT IT IS REALLY FUNNY. BUT IF YOU REALLY WANT A LAUGH, THEN LOOK AT KEVIN HART, HE IS REALLY FUNNY." can stay on the site, so should any other quote.
