Not that typing with one finger is a good thing, but I think 50 WPM using just your right index finger is very impressive. Hopefully you will find a touch typing course that suits you.

Go ahead and continue to do this as long as it doesn't put too much strain on your wrist. Other than that, it's important to use all fingers.

Instead of moving all over the keyboard, keep your fingers over the middle row and simply stretch fingers to hit keys in the top or bottom row as much as you can.
