Seeing WPM go up but graph WPM go down and vice versa

I've noticed this recently (maybe in the past day or two) where my WPM for the game would go up or down depending on mistakes, and that if say it's at 70.51, but the graph would go up to like 80.24. It would happen to where if the WPM for the game would be high but the graph would go down.

It seems to me that your score in the box on the left-hand side is the average wpm based on all your data, whereas the graph on the right-hand side shows your individual wpm for the game you just played and the games before.
