Looking at the keyboard is sometimes important especially when novices
Yes, this is important. If you never look at the keys, even when you still do not know the layout of the keyboard, then learning to type will most likely be a terribly difficult task.

HOWEVER. If you are still learning to type then I would suggest you go to another site, as websites like these are best for honing skills, not learning how to type without looking. It is possible, but it is not recommended. Just look up learn how to type and many different websites will show up, including kids websites. Don't be afraid to go to a children's website if you are not a child. Most often, when learning a new language watching shows like Sesame Street are the best way to start off.

Hope I helped.
