Terrible Grammar

I understand the concept of using quotes that have more special characters/punctuation than others to sort of challenge ourselves as well as others in terms of skill... But please for the love of God if you're going to add a quote that heavily riddled with punctuation, make sure it's grammatically correct! It can already be hard enough dealing with quotes that use special characters and heavy punctuation, but it's even more impossible when these quotes don't actually make any sense.
You do know that you could just skip the quote instead of crying about it, right? it's called "typing test", not "pleasing someone" test FCOL...

I get upset because it messes up my score. I type it the way it's supposed to be but am forced to type it incorrectly. I am wondering if some of the authors have English as a second language, and that is why it doesn't make any sense.

Seriously! How on Earth do all those horrendous grammatical errors even make it through the people approving the quotes? Please tell me that all new quotes have to be manually reviewed and that they're not just automatically accepted!

I agree. I found a quote a few days ago that instead of putting the punctuation mark (") they instead typed ('') which is separated. Screwed me up on the quote.

More people need to start using the edit text tool. It would be nice if they added a way for people to vote on the edits, like with how it works for adding quotes, to speed up and ease the moderation.

Yeah but it's a bit irritating with the new limit to how many quotes you can skip in a row when so many of the quotes have this issue

Seriously. I've noticed that sometimes when I go to edit a quote to fix a grammar or spelling error, I see that multiple people have left a comment on the quote about the error, but they never actually went in to fix it. It's getting pretty annoying lol like it's there for a reason
