It’s funny how banning something in a world where VPNs exist is a futile effort. What will it actually change? I also remember when the Instagram scandal broke, there were rumors that all the data was controlled by the FBI or CIA. Adding to this is another Meta issue: the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica data scandal. Isn’t it hypocritical that the US collects information from around the world but panics when another country does the same?

I feel like this will evolve into another type of meme or trend in the future—maybe it already has. The entire TikTok user base in the USA has switched to RedNote (ironically created by the Chinese) and is now obsessed with hot Asians. Just check it out—it’s wild.
