Is it just me or is typing terrible with the wrong type of keyboard i just had 80wpm with a 94 accuracy then it went down to a 70 with my new chromebook...
Sure, the type of keyboard you use, and especially the one you're used to, makes a difference.

Not sure if a keyboard snob, but I changed a lot of keyboards and even when technique is more important, if you type a lot, mechanical keyboards with linear switches are very fast and you won't get tired typing with them.

My average speed now is about 85 WPM, but... it took a lot of practice (started at 45 WPM)

It's not just you lol. Some people are complete keyboard snobs. I prefer a mech but yeah typing on those chicklet keys sucks. Even on the better ones, to me anyway, it feels like I'm just mashing my fingers into a slab lol.

Hey nice, that's some good progress. I started around 65 and now I hover around 80.
