I use all of my fingers but I would say that I use my pointer and middle fingers 60% of the time, my ring fingers 25% of the time, and my thumbs and pinky 10% of the time. You might be asking what the remaining 5% is. While I wish the answer was that I type with my toes on occasion, the truth is that I'm just bad at math.

I use all of my fingers including both thumbs. This is because I use a 40% keyboard (43 keys) so the left spacebar is a function button so I can access numbers and symbols. That said, the general technique is supposed to use all 10, but who hits space with BOTH thumbs? That's just weird.

Yeah, a lot of people around me shame me for typing with four fingers, then I challenge them to a typing battle on here and they put their heads down really quickly.

I would be a bit careful challenging people like that, as using four fingers is going to limit the maximum speed you can achieve. There's always a bigger fish, as it goes.

True, true, but have you seen this popular youtube Penguin typer. A couple of my friends saw me typing and thought that when I typed I looked like him. I saw part of one of his videos, he is literally typing at 150 wpm with TWO FINGERS.

Nice, that is what a lot of my friends do, and it works pretty good for them!

I use 9 fingers, only because I don't use my left thumb for the spacebar.

I type with my nose; It gets rather dizzying, but in the end I feel closer to the words I put on to the screen and the people I send them to :)
