My tip to improve your typing speed is to... just work really hard and have someone there to push you. Eventually, you will get to a better level . I did and my best WPM is 75 at an 100% !

When my fingers hurt after too much time on the keyboard, I... crack my knuckles and stop practicing for a while until my fingers feel better.

What really helped me improve my typing speed is... my teacher. She has been pushing us to do better and we've been keyboarding for a really long time, but this website is a lot of fun and I love adding quotes whenever I can think of one :).
