King not only changed the way African Americans lived but he changed the difference that people saw between people. He made sure segregation in public places didn't exist. He showed people that skin color didn't matter. He showed people that everyone is equal. He used nonviolence to prove his point. All of those marches, protests, and speeches paid off in a way. People started to see that what mattered was the character not the looks. Look at our world today. It did change.

Martin Luther King Jr. changed the world. There is no doubt about it. Many people think he changed the way people thought about African Americans or that he stopped racism. That however is incorrect. Still, people today treat others wrongly, think bad thoughts about different races, and make fun of them for who they are. Racism can't be eradicated. Sometimes you just can't change someone's opinion. After all of Dr. King's hard work some things didn't change. Then what did he change?
