As a former teenager turned regretful adult, I agree with this quote. One of the great injustices of life is that we are completely unable to appreciate youth when we have it. No matter what anyone tells a teenager about the future and what they should do to take advantage of the time they have, they won't understand. It's not their fault, they just don't have the wisdom of time and experience. And just like us, by the time they acquire that wisdom, it will be too late to be of any use.
