I don't have to imagine using a typewriter. We learned how to type with typewriters in Highschool in the early nineties. The first few jobs I had that involved administrative tasks relied on typewriters both electronic and mechanical. The electronic typewriters usually had "correction tape" which erased your errors via the backspace key. By the way, I'm only 44 years old as of 2022.
