If it wasn't the Kardashians and their humungous butts, it would be someone else with some other exaggerated, impossible to obtain features setting the standards of beauty that everyone would try and fail to live up to. It's not the fact the Kardashians exist that's the problem, it's that we naturally place those who we feel are better than us on a pedestal we can never reach, then define our self worth by how close we can get to them.

It gets better. I know it's hard to believe it but it does. I deeply resonate with what you wrote. Found it hard to live. But wow, so glad I stuck through and am alive right now. My problem with this quote is that there is a huge gap between the talking point in the first two (short) sentences and the talking point in the last (long) sentence. The former point is sophisticated, philosophical and what I call the "Ph.D. Level" but the latter point is "kindergarten level". Personally, I learned the positions of the keys (well, only the 26 letter keys to be honest) even before I had access to a computer. I drew the keys on a piece of cardboard and learned to touch-type there. I mean that is the very first, basic lesson. But after years, even decades, I am still far from "get it all right," let alone "can't get it wrong". Therefore, there is a huge gap. Nevermind... I just want to tell my life story... I want to become famous, one of those "successful" people one day, oh yes, a celebrity! And everyone would read, admire and learn from my autobiography...

It may be bad advice and not true (not for intelligent people anyway) but it is incredibly and beautifully poetic, especially the first two lines.

One needs to elaborate on this. at this point, this is not a good argument. Granted, a lot of people do not marry for love, and even some of those grow into a healthy strong relationship. To claim that no two people marry out of love much less one, it a bold and highly unlikely hypothesis.
