I never did that before. But I'm doing it lately. So the first half of my profile curve is truthful and the second half is fake. The turning point is approximately the 8,000th test. Without the "escape", my speed tends to jump up and down 70WPM FOREVER. Now, with the "escaping strategy" I'm safely staying above the 80WPM line. At least it looks so from the curve. This generates the false impression that I am making progress. As the saying goes, if you want to be successful you must first pretend to be successful.
