There are times when a critic truly risks something and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends.

The word truth should be changed to evidence and this quote would make more sense. Science is evidence based. 100 years from now, new evidence will have proven many things to be true that we currently do not understand. But just because we don't yet have that evidence, doesn't mean those things aren't true right now, we just haven't been enlightened to the truth yet. The entire point of faith is to believe in something without evidence. Whether faith based living is foolish or not, the critic should at least understand it before giving their criticism.

I see a lot of you complain about excessive or weird punctuation because it messes up your scores, and I can't help but think you're all missing the point. The objective here isn't to get a high score.

100%! I have left a comment to this effect on just such a quote. I considered writing a quote like this, but decided against it, as I have discovered that ANY quote which refers to the site, regardless of its complexity, tends to make me aware of what I'm doing, and speed and accuracy go to hell.

This quote is LOVELY! I don't know why it's so enjoyable, but it's oddly deep and I enjoyed it.
Plus, y'know, I got a new high score, haha.
