I've been at 75 wpm for years at this point. I think maybe some of us have a natural ceiling to how fast we can type.
But also, it is possible to improve. Sometimes it's our equipment that's holding us back. Once I got my keyboard into a good height, and my screen a good distance from me, I noticed that suddenly I could sometimes type up to 85 wpm.
It's also possible that focusing on accuracy over speed may be what you need.
Or, using another program to identify your problem keys, and work on those ones specifically.
Either way, it's important to accept that your typing speed does not define your worth. None of your skills do. As a human, you are priceless, no matter what.
