You are missing a large part of the point of the Hunger Games - it's why the exploration of children for entertainment is bad. That is what is being specifically targeted in these books, how we put kids in positions that many adults cannot handle and then manipulate them into being our entertainment.
this seems intentional, with terrible punctuation, and a quote that doesn't make sense, plus multiple mistakes.. if you are adding a quote, at least do it correctly..

Social Media are junk food for our brains. Why are the nutritionists silent? Requires no prep time. Easy to consume. Fast. Immediately satisfying, yet leaves you wanting more. These generic motivational quotes are tiresome. People have been talking for centuries about the power of positive thinking. The problem is that they end up underrating the necessity of expressing regret and disappointment. Trying to spin *everything* in a "positive" way is a surefire recipe for fooling yourself. There is a form of optimism that's healthy, and there is a form of optimism that is unhealthy. The unhealthy form can be taken to cruel extremes, such as the denial of people's real suffering.
