Being told that you have privilege is not a judgment on your character. It doesn't mean that you are a bad person, and it doesn't mean you don't have struggles. All it means is that you experience advantages that other people do not. It's not about feeling guilty, or being ashamed of your luck in life's lottery. It's about being aware of your good fortune, and doing what you can to reach down the ladder and pull people up, instead of stepping on them as you climb.

This is very anti-semetic. Jewish people are more successful because they are smarter than the average non Jewish person, and culturally they have a strong work ethic.

Using the term "privilege" implies that the problem is inequality. It isn't. The problem is that people are being denied basic human rights. To attempt to resolve the inequality by removing privilege would result in depriving everyone of their rights.

I think that the whole privilege conversation is a non-issue. And harping on who has privilege rather than actually doing something productive to try to make change for disadvantaged communities is silly. And damaging to the actual cause.
