Last night, still half drunk from the beers I sipped with imaginary friends, I swore to renew myself. Tomorrow, instead of being bitter, I would turn to face the sky. I vowed to walk with confidence, throwing my shoulders back as if to say, "I am important. I have momentous things to do with influential people."
