- Dreams and the Subconscious
They say that dreams are your subconscious trying to tell you something about your life or your inner desires. After all, why would we have dreams if they didn't mean anything? Well, I find this theory completely ridiculous. I'd be hard pressed to find a deeper meaning behind riding magic carpets made out of tentacles or going to the hospital with 10 foot tall Norwegian giants.

- Off week
I submitted a quote to this website about bad days when typing. I mentioned how some days I will do really well and other days I will do terribly. I'm sure most of you can relate. Well, I seem to have been burdened with an entire week of poor typing. For reasons unknown, I haven't been able to type anywhere near my average WPM this week. I'm consistently falling about 30 WPM short of my usual average and I don't know why. I won't lie to you; it's really bugging me.

- Most comments on quotes are pretty toxic
I've played a lot of games on this site - over four thousand actually. That has given me a lot of time to read the comments left on quotes while checking how my score compares to other typists. Almost every comment I read is some negative rambling or petty roast about how the grammar sucks or how it's a wrong world view or how it's generally stupid. You'll see the occasional comment that goes on some long rant that ultimately nobody cares about. You people need to get off your high horses.

- 2020 kinda sucks
The year 2020 has been one of the most unfortunate years in recent times. There is a massive global pandemic wreaking havoc both financially and physically. Bush fires have broken out in Australia and caused a state of emergency. Swarms of locusts have torn through African and decimated crops for thousands of people. Kobe Bryant died. There is currently a storm forming off the east coast of the US that is heading in the direction of a hurricane. All of this in 6 months. Can we get 2019 back?

- My average never stays the same
Sometimes I start typing and I do great. I breeze through every word and punctuation mark with ease and sometimes set new personal bests for myself while dwarfing my old personal best. But then there's times where, seemingly out of nowhere, I do terrible on multiple quotes back to back after just having done really well. I don't know why this happens but it really sucks to see my average WPM bounce up and down like that.
