A pastor said "companies should always be hiring followers of Christ. Because it is the Lord who led them to that employment since he knows that the employee is perfectly suited to the job with their current abilities and will thrive as he or she grows past their current capacity." My only question is how to decide that the interviewee is a true disciple or just the average Christian in that short hour? Colossians 3:23.

The concept of waiting until marriage becomes more desirable as I age. As a young man, if I want my future wife to be relatively celibate, I should hold myself to the same standard. And by doing this, I am now starting to see so many benefits to my mental health, use of time, and overall productivity because I'm no longer chasing the box.

Jewelry is not a necessity, so jewelry store attendants are not trained to convince you to buy something you don't need. They are trained to keep you inside the store long enough for you to convince yourself that you can afford something you don't need. For example, "we'll clean your ring for free and it'll take about twenty minutes, feel free to look around and let me know if there's something you want to try on." See where I'm getting at here?

Grades are not as important as people think. They are mostly important for what you want to become in the future. Think of them as steps towards your future career. Want to be an astronaut? Have the best grades in science and math. Want to become a lawyer? Learn how to read fast, have great grades in english, and join a debate club. Balance your social life and extracurricular activities, but make grades a priority because your future is the most important thing in life.
