When I tell people that I do math for fun, as a hobby, they can't help but be baffled by my statement. I think people really don't understand the wonders of math. It's a shame they learn math for the sake of getting a good grade. There's so much more to it - For instance did you know the spiral shape of sunflowers follow the Fibonacci sequence? Math isn't a skill or formula; it's more of a way of viewing the world through creativity and patterns. Math is awesome. I rest my case.
