IP Phone Boot Process is as follows: power over ethernet provides power via IEEE 802.3af oe 802.3at or Cisco ILP. VLANs are learned through CDP or LLDP. The phone sends a DHCP request in the voice VLAN; the response includeds an IP and DHCP option 150.
