For the longest time, I had always thought that "confidence" meant having belief, in my opinion, to stay stout in my decisions, to not waver. I always thought I was doing it correctly, and even going beyond, taking account of other people's decisions as well. And, there, you see, the overconfidence appears.

The townspeople grew tired of their nightmares. The men and women grew tired of their monsters. They rid of their terrible, but in doing so, they abandoned their great. And buildings, once delightfully wobbly, became square, and gray. Nights once filled with merry madness, laughter, and argument now fell silent and still.
