- A Rainy Bucket
We often think that the world is nothing but a big old bucket. The land rises here and then lowers there, giving way for oceans to fill in and facilitate our lives. But it rains on this bucket. So I have no problem calling this meek little ball of water and earth a rainy bucket. I love my little rainy bucket.

- Philosophy on Decent Mind and Existence
One thinks so often about existing in the future that they don't seem to perceive that they exist in the now. They think that they can do something in anticipation so that they would never have to experience the discomfort of the present. This brings to mind the existence of the past; it is solely possible that it is impossible for the past to exist only on the basis of fact that the only comprehensible time zone is the present. Existing in present is the most pragmatic form of existence.
