Mark and Lexie
- Periodic Table - Grey's Anatomy
Mark: So... a photographic memory, huh? Periodic Table. Go. Lexie: Hydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium, boron, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine, neon, sodium, magnesium, aluminum, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur. I can keep going.
Meredith Grey
- Once upon a time - Grey's Anatomy
Once upon a time, happily ever after. The stories we tell are the stuff of dreams. Fairy tales don't come true. Reality is much stormier, much murkier, much scarier. Reality; it's so much more interesting than living happily ever after.
Meredith Grey
- I need you - Grey's Anatomy
Because you're my person. And if I'm gonna do this with him - be whole and healthy and be a warm, gooey person who lives with a boy, I need you. I need you on board. I need you to cheer me on. Because you're the only one who knows me, darkly, really knows me. I need you to pretend that I can do this, even if you don't believe. Because if you abandon me now, I will never make it, and I'll never get my happy ending.

- Used to be - OTH - Part 2
I'm not saying athletes are above the law, but I think it's up to science to determine the validity of these claims, not the evening news because I think reporting on athletes inspires people to be exceptional. And while I've never been an exceptional athlete I can strive to be exceptional in my own way: by refusing to bow to pressure, by refusing to stoop to a level that's beneath me, just like Nathan Scott has refused to. I believe in Nathan Scott, but I believe in my viewers.
Mouth
- Used to be - OTH - Part 1
Nathan Scott is a Tree Hill local who overcame injury and adversity to achieve his dream, a dream to play professional basketball. But lately Nathan's career has taken a backseat to allegations of an affair that led to the pregnancy of a fan. In my opinion, continuing to report on these allegations without any further evidence of their validity is a reckless attempt on the part of this network to boost ratings.
Haley James Scott
- Protected him - OTH
No? The picture... the one of that woman draped all over my husband. What party was that at Clay? Who threw that party? I'm not saying you don't love him 'cause I know you do but you love having him at your side more than anything else. You could have protected him from this...
Brooke Davis
- Fix it - OTH
I have this poster hanging in my living room, Paul. Of course I'm upset. And the only reason that it's hanging there is because you took him to see that movie, and for one day that boy felt loved and appreciated. And the sad part is that there was only one of those days. Because in my book, the day that he didn't feel that way should be the unique one. Fix it.
Dan, Brooke, and Jamie
- Magic - OTH - Part 6
{Dan}When you listen to a train passing on a track at night in the distance, and you wonder where it might be going... {Brooke} You step beyond who you are and where you are... {Jamie} For the briefest of instance, you have stepped into the magic realm. That's what I believe.
Haley and Quinn
- Magic - OTH - Part 5
{Haley James Scott} When a song stirs a memory... {Quinn James} When motes of dust turning in a shaft of light takes your attention from the world...
Alex and Mouth
- Magic - OTH - Part 4
{Alex} When people get weepy in movies; it's because in that dark theater, the golden pool of magic is touched, just briefly... {Mouth} Then they come out into the hard sun of logic and reason again, and it dries up, and they're feeling a little heart sad, and not knowing why...
James Lucas Scott
- Magic - OTH - Part 3
Because the people doing the telling were afraid of our wildness and youth, and because the magic we knew made them ashamed and sad of what they'd allowed to wither in themselves. And after you go so far away from it, you can't really get it back. You can have seconds of it, just seconds of knowing and remembering...
James Lucas Scott
- Magic - OTH - Part 2
But then we get the magic educated right out of our souls. We get it churched out, washed out, spanked out, and combed out. We get put on the straight and narrow and told to be responsible. Told to act our age. And you know why we were told that?
James Lucas Scott
- Magic - OTH - Part 1
You know, I do believe in magic... I was born and raised in a magic time... in a magic town... among magicians... Most everybody else didn't realize we live in a web of magic, connected by the silver filaments of chance and circumstance, but I knew it all along. See? This is my opinion; we all started out knowing magic. We are born with whirlwinds, forest fires, and comets inside of us. We are born able to sing to birds and read cloud, and see our destiny in grains of sand...
Julian Baker
- I promise - OTH
Hi, guys. It's daddy. I like the sound of that. I just want you to understand that you're gonna be okay... Okay? So don't be afraid or intimidated by all this stuff, you know? Because the thing is... Your mom is Brooke Davis. And her strength is enough for all of us. I promise.
Quinn James
- Just watch - OTH
When I was a little girl, my dad used to read the paper every Sunday, and my mom would read a book nearby. And I would sit at the top of our stairs and just watch them... just watch them still be together... and when I think of being in love, that's what I picture... days like that, and nights like this.
Clay Evans
- Miss you in forever ways - OTH
You know, after Sara died, I was always looking back. At what I had lost, at how my life was supposed to be. But somewhere along the way, you changed all that. And when I walk in the door and I see you, it's like the weight of my day just falls away. I miss you in forever ways. You taught me to look forward again... to days and nights with you. And I love you so much for that.
Haley James Scott
- Karen's Cafe - OTH
Karen's Cafe was always so special to us. Karen made sure of that, and - and you, too, and I just thought, maybe after you move, I'll reopen it and call it Karen's Cafe. And maybe Jamie and Lydia will feel the same way that we did... safe, you know? What do you think?
Mouth
- Once they're gone - OTH - Part 3
{Looking to Nathan} A lot of lost kids found their way to something better in this park. In a confusing world, at a confusing time in their lives, they found something that made sense here, and they became better people because of it. Surely that it worth preserving. For Millicent Huxtable... who I love with all my heart, I'm Marvin McFadden reporting.
Mouth
- Once they're gone - OTH - Part 2
Commerce is commerce. That's not really the point, is it? The truth is, a town's identity is made up of places like this one. And once they're gone, they're gone. Some people who care about this court have uncovered a nest nearby that could be the key to stopping the bulldozers you see behind me. But even so, do we have to find a technicality better in this park?
Mouth
- Once they're gone - OTH - Part 1
It's been host to authors, NBA players, local legends and fashion designers. Notable musicians have played here... both concerts and games of 'horse.' And on gentle summer nights as the staccato rhythms of worn leather on fading asphalt mixes with the white noise of the distant nightlife across the Cape Fear, kids have grown up here. I should know, I was one of them. Now development threatens to erase this place.
