Not that I am too much of a fashion fetish but dressing properly always helps to create the right impression; doesn’t it? However, this is where I land up at an end of my wits!

Nothing satiates a modern hedonistic mind more than acquiring new material possessions to flaunt in front of both friend and foe, and the bigger the hole it has burnt into one’s pocket the greater is its potential of getting a heartburn to the extent of causing gastric problems to the non-possessor. But hey, the Devil does not give away for charity- there is always a price to be paid. And I paid it too, and also very dearly!

For ages, the land of Assam has been invaded and vandalized, leaving its inhabitants terrorized and fear-struck. From the Burmese, the Moghuls, the British, the Chinese, to the insurgents and extremists in the last few decades, the people of Assam have remained victimized only to emerge back with courage and perseverance.
