* Mettez les index sur les touches qui ont un relief (petit point ou barre)
* A chaque touche il y a un doigt assigné. Une touche doit toujours être tapée par le même doigt.
* Ne regardez pas le clavier, les yeux doivent toujours être sur l'écran
* Entrainez-vous !
What really helped me improve my typing speed is...
Doing lots of practice with Mavis Beacon! I outgrew Mavis Beacon, so now I'm trying to design my own typing tests based on problems I currently see. It's helped me get to 110 regular speed - although you probably won't see that here just yet, because I am focusing on the stuff that is super hard for me. (mainly numbers and symbols.)
It's been a two month since I'm practicing typing half hour daily. At started, my speed was 50 wpm. But now my speed is around 65 to 70 wpm. It is increasing gradually. I am waiting for my speed above 100 wpm.
I realized I truly knew how to type when I could be looking at a document for reference while typing something different, realize I'd made a mistake without looking, and fix it, all while continuing to study a totally different document. Only once you've reached this point, where you average 95% accuracy with little effort, is it time to train speed.
Even still, I find my best results come when I focus first on the accuracy of my keystrokes, second on the speed of my fingers striking the keys. Accuracy births speed, speed births efficiency.
Hey user72299, sorry this reply took so long. Here are some tips on how you can get to at least 100 wpm: Practice for at least 4 days per week, 1.5 hours per day. If you need to, you can even type for 45 minutes(with drinking water now and then, really quick), and then come back to it with 45 minutes again. Also, practice the piano. That will help. If you keep going on keyhero, that will help. Hey, you might want to email me @ mathman196@gmail.com. That way, we can reach each other. Again, I apologize for such a late response.
My tip to improve your typing speed is to remap your keyboard's caps lock into a backspace key. It saves a lot of movement and is therefore faster and less stressful on your hands. I recommend SharpKeys as a good remapping program.
Let your hands relax in your lap. If your hands are hurting frequently, consider getting an ergonomic keyboard; one that keeps your wrist straight and lowers the amount of twisting/moving you need to do with your hands.
What really helped me improve my typing speed is... practice going slow to capture all your entries. Continue to go a bit faster each time. Also, have a keyboard that works and letters don't stick.
Pick whatever book you love. You have to write all the contents in that book and don't forget to use right positions for which keys you should press by your fingers. Start typing with your lowest speed but it is still 100% of accuracy. Pay attention to the accuracy. If you have already memorized the key positions in your keyboard and kept your accuracy close to 100%, try to speed up your typing. More practice which you can do, faster your speed.
When u type anything, totally concentrate on that thing, Give lot of time to typing, you will speed up your typing speed and your accuracy will get increase.
My fingers are already hurting - I can type like 90 WPM with about 92% accuracy...BUT I'm not using my pinky's and am barely using my index fingers. Now I'm trying to go back and start from scratch learn how to type super fast - I think that once I can master how to use all of my finger, I think I will be able to achieve much greater speeds with accuracy. We'll see how it goes
