It's okay to look down at the keyboard sometimes. It can help you remember where certain things that your small hands can't reach. such as the exclamation mark. that thing is far away from home row and these sausage fingers can't reach it. :)

Thanks for the tip. My usual speed when I'm not looking is around 20-27 wpm, but if I give a quick glance or something I can sometimes get it up to thirty.

Ohh, Visual-Spatial, right? Well, yup, first of all, you need to look at the keyboard, then familiarize it until you know it. Then slowly start to increase speed.

I Find it easier looking at the keyboard so that i am certain of wich letter i am hitting such as the letter 'b' but when i look away i second guess myself, and end up getting it wrong. i know what your thinking, "DONT LOOK ITS CHEATING" first of all i only look when i have a brain freeze or im getting it wrong a bunch of times, second, its not cheating looking helps me remember, i am a visual person. so eat it!
