I checked out your Fortnite streams on Twitch. I am not going to lie, I was expecting some kid screaming and playing poorly. I was pleasantly surprised. You have a lot of skill kid, nice work! Have fun with the Endgame content.

I like to think I'm a nice person. I raise my kids well. I have two of their friends living with me full-time as well. I am an ER nurse. And I volunteer at a soup kitchen. But I am also a harsh ex-teacher with no patience with ignorance or stupidity in kids. This sounds cheesy, but kids are our future - you guys need to do better. You can be better

yes, that's exactly what I mean. When you're in first place, the cars behind you will get blue spiked heat-seeking shells to take your ass out. The only way (that I have found at least) to protect yourself against them is by having a music box and timing it right so that the echo of its sound deflects the shell

I don't play fortnite very often I usually play rainbow six siege which in my opinion is a good game.

Yeah my son is crazy good at Fornite...though I wish it wouldn't keep him in his room for hours on end. Yes, he plays on his computer.

And yes, I am a very nice person. I just don't have any tolerance for senselessness and stupidity. You kids need to understand that you're submitting quotes and comments on a site that is also used by adults - and adults normally are not amused by your online antics.

the trick to Mario Kart is to know where all the short cuts are and to master drifting. And learn how to use the music box to block blue spiked shells - then you're pretty much guaranteed first place

I don't think my son would want to play Fortnite with you guys. He has seen the rude and threatening comments you guys have posted about his mom and was not impressed so I don't think he'll want anything to do with you guys. Also, he doesn't play random people. He plays on teams and is very obsessed with his rankings. He plays more for money than for fun. Last I heard, he was fourth in Canada, though I can't remember what his world ranking was

I was a 'god' at Mario Kart - I was pretty much undefeated. I actually played it about a month ago with my kids and I kicked all their asses. Same with another racing game called Forza - I play that with my kids and do quite well. But Fortnite is another beast entirely - it is too confusing for this old fart - I'll leave that higher-tech stuff to you kids

I'm not a child, so I don't play video games, though I've certainly watched tons of Fortnite being played. My teenage son is obsessed with Fortnite and has been qualifying for, and making money on, online Fortnite tournaments. I'm too old for video games. I used to kick ass at Mario Kart, but I can't seem to figure out how to use the controls in games like Fortnite - I can't seem to look around AND move at the same time, resulting in my getting stuck in a corner looking at the ceiling or the floor and being unable to move
