Text: I am content when I shut a book if I can take away from it the memory of a single line which has made me think. Thus far, all the books I have opened have contained that line, but none of them has given me a second line. It may be that each of us has only one thing to say in his life, and that those who have insisted upon talking longer have been excessively ambitious.
