Text: Going Overboard (1989) is the film debut of Adam Sandler. Despite his early movies popularity among fans, few are aware of this movie's existence. The film was directed by Valerie Breiman, and written by her, Adam Sandler, Scott LaRose, and Adam Rifkin, all of whom, have roles in the movie. Despite what they would have you believe, they did in fact, have a budget and studio support, and yet it is a complete mess.
