- Theoden - Where is the horse and rider?
Where is the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? They have passed like rain on the mountain, like wind in the meadow. The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow. How did it come to this?

- ABC's
Okay, here we go; a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z and now we go backwards z y x w v u t s r q p o n m l k j i h g f e d c b a good job! When I was in high school, bored in class one day, I wrote the ABC's down on paper and read them backwards a couple times, and that's all it took for me to memorize them backwards perfectly. It was surprisingly easy! The human brain is a miracle creation of the universe.
Old Hunter Yamamura
- Yamamura the Wanderer
Shrouded by night, but with steady stride. Colored by blood, but always clear of mind. Proud hunter of the church. Beasts are a curse, and a curse is a shackle. Only ye are the true blades of the church.

- Antarctica, The Greatest Secret On Earth
Why is it that Antarctica is the one continent that nobody can just freely visit? Why is the airspace above and surrounding Antarctica restricted? Why is there such a huge military presence if there isn't anything of interest there? As a military veteran myself, I can assure you, the military would not waste precious time, military personnel, and millions of dollars on a hoax. I'm sure there will be those who laugh at this comment, but for the actual intellects and thinkers, you feel the same.

- Hard Words
According to a recent Google search, some of the hardest words to spell are as follows; nauseous, dilate, fuchsia, minuscule, ingenious, sacrilegious, orangutan, and paraphernalia.

- Bilbo's Birthday Speech
My dear Bagginses and Boffins, Tooks and Brandybucks, Grubbs, Chubbs, Hornblowers, Bolgers, Bracegirdles and Proudfoots. Alas, eleventy-one years is far too short a time to live among such excellent and admirable hobbits. I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve. I regret to announce this is the end. I am going now. I bid you all a very fond farewell. Goodbye.

- A Holy Prayer
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, and thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. Amen. Lord Jesus, please heal my body, protect my mind and fill my heart with your unending love. Thank you for blessing my life. Lord thank you!

- The Three L's of Love
Lust, love and loyalty, in that order. That is the three L's of love. The attraction of the eye is the first spark, and after dates and interactions, creating moments and memories, that spark turns to the fire of love. These first two come relatively easy, because when the storm hits, and the fire requires more care and nurture, many will fail. Loyalty is the most important aspect of love, where people choose paths, decisions and sacrifices, that either make or break the relationship.

- The Ancient Awaits (Sons of the Emperor: An Anthology)
For every adept of the Corvidae knew that nothing ever really began. There could be no single moment from which this or any other event sprang; the threads could always be followed to some earlier moment and the actions that preceded them. To attempt to pin any event's origin to a single moment in time would drive a mind to insanity.

- The First Flight (Part 2)
I flew down the hallways, barely above the ground, navigating around corners, dodging lockers as I felt wind rush past my face. After this dream I had many more; flying through tree branches and avoiding power lines. Apparently this is a common flying dream people experience when they have a mixture of freedom and uncertainty in their life. That was my case at that time. No job, playing golf, loving life, but my future was a cloud of anxiety high above me. I eventually mastered flight.

- The First Flight (Part 1)
I was being chased through the hallways of my old high school, an unknown threat approaching from behind. The adrenaline rush jacked my heart rate as I fled with panic. Past the classrooms, to the lunchroom, and arriving at the doors to the gymnasium, I throttled through the doors with all my weight and to my disbelief I was within a vast theater. Towering red curtains on the stage, elegant balcony seats with ivory trim. I turned around with no fear, aware I was dreaming, and began to fly.

- A Beautiful Moment
In my childhood home my bedroom was on the backside of the house with the forest outside my window. We lived near the water and a new bridge was being built. One morning, a morning which is burned into my memories, I woke up to a beautiful relaxing fog, the rising sun beams cutting through the trees, my window cracked open, the sound of the boat horns in the distance below. I stayed in bed and silently soaked in the moment, comfortably in my blankets, fully taking in the grand beauty of it all.

- Memories
You walked in and you were more beautiful than the images you shared online. I could not believe how attracted I was to you; a drug was shot straight into my blood, and I was already addicted. You sat down and the way your eyes lit up to the surprise of a plate of warm bacon on the table was enough for me to know how much I was going to fall in love with you. We conversed perfectly and played putt-putt afterwards. We shared an apartment together for a while, and those years were heaven. Yet...

- The Abyssal Edge (Sons of the Emperor: An Anthology)
"It isn't spite that binds me to this course of action," the Night Lords primarch said softly. "The knowledge in that spire is the crown jewel of a corrupt culture. Their beliefs should be destroyed to aid compliance and prevent a backslide into heathenism. Obedience is what matters, Magnus. They will be taught to obey. Through obedience, they will become imperial."

- The Passing of Angels (Sons of the Emperor: An Anthology)
I do not pause in thought or consideration. The condemned run from me, burning, blind as their eyes boil. I release them from life as I pass. I do not even feel the spear strikes. Gunfire rips from buildings to tater my wings. Blood marks my passing, scattering from the slaughter. I am not alive. I am not a creature that lives. I am just judgement. I am death. And for now I feel no sorrow.
John French
- The Passing of Angels (Sons of the Emperor: An Anthology)
A serene face moulded in tarnished silver looked up at Alepheo with empty eyes. Tear drops marked its cheeks and a rayed halo ran across its crown. It was a death mask, made by a dying brother of the Legion in the last hours of his life and then cast in silver. They were worn only by those called to put aside their names and serve amongst the Legion's Destroyers. To hide one's face behind such a mask was to take on the burden of atrocity, a necessary evil in an age both of enlightenment and war.
John French
- The Passing of Angels (Sons of the Emperor: An Anthology)
Red lights begin to pulse. Sirens blare. Doors along the flank of the craft slide open. Sound and air rush out into the brightening night. I can see the Storm Eagles, Lightning Crows and Thunderhawks following us down out of the dome of the sky, red streaks in deepening blue. Like drops of blood. Like tears. I step to the edge of the open assault ramp. The air pulls at me. I look down. The summit of the mountain city rises from dawn-stained cloud.

- Love And Live On.
It's almost as if it never happened, like a dream that keeps fading away. It's almost as if she never was here, what happened to all of those days? Years flew by now here I am, thinking, what did it all mean? I learned a lot yet still feel lost like nothing is as it seems. She seemed like the one but that wasn't true. No one is perfect and that isn't new. Keep this in mind if you feel these words, have peace in your mind and breathe deeply inwards. Let love be the force in everything you do.

- What We Are
Somewhere in the forests of the PNW, hooked up to a gas generator up in the trees using the WIFI off my phone's hotspot. My clothes are wet but my computer is dry. I look into the stars as my laptop dies and I ask myself, "Where do I get more gasoline?" The birds are as silent as my fan not spinning. I see darkness. No pulse in my veins but this beat in my heart keeps my brain warm. I wonder, if I would ever be able to play again.
