The trick to increasing speed is typing accurately as I've heard, but the real trick is to keep at it on a consistent basis. If you use it, you will grow. If you don't, you won't grow. Things that you are weak at, repetitional keystrokes in those areas are needed. For example, I've taken texts that slow me down, and copy and past it to focus on its stroke pattern. Once I've practiced that stroke pattern, that'll become muscle memory over time. This is true for anything your weak in.
